Phase 1
Begins to adapt the environment according to the needs and characteristics of a given people. Begin to see changes in the environment such as the construction of machines and factories, the advent of steam, coal exploitation and processing and utilization of iron. All this gradually began to cause environmental degradation.
Phase 2
The machines and factories that were created before get transform and became more and more. New factories appear and with this new products like: electricity, petroleum, use and transformation of the steel appear too. All these advances that are very good for the social and economic development are not so good for the environment because we are damaging the environment.
Phase 3
It is everything we know today and we can give an account as the world has gone out. As humanity moves will transform the environment according to their customs and needs. In this phase 3 development of humanity and all the technology created as: electricity, oil that is increasingly more developed and the media, transportation and technology that are the most recent that have shortened distances and have facilitated the society. We believe that we are progressing at all but this is not entirely without actually realizing it when technological progress in just destroyed our planet and this is checked and the environment created by scientific research.
• The industrial revolution contributed on an important and fundamental part for the development of the progress idea, but it is not up to one hundred fifty years after that the economic structure of the world underwent a significant transformation, per which a rural and artisan society became an urban, industrial and diversified society.
• According to the researchers in the period which saw the greatest deposition of soot on Arctic soil was from the years of the industrial revolution.

England and Colombia in the XVII century
1) a. ¿what country do you think has more natural sources Colombia or England?
I think that Colombia has more natural resources, because we are in the tropical area. And because of that I think Colombia has mare natural resources.
b.¿why do you think that that the science and technology have a great development in England and not in Colombia? I think that England has more technology because Colombia all the year concentrates on the agriculture and England has seasons and all the year don’t concentrate on the agriculture and in the free time they advance in technology.

2) Make an essay in which you tell what we have to do in Colombia to develop the science and technology.
I think that in Colombia we have to concentrate more in the technology than in the nature. Now we are many people. I think that some people can concentrate in the nature all the year and other in the technology all the year. I think that it is a good solution for increasing the technology and science in Colombia.

2.
a) ¿what country do you think has more natural sources Colombia or England?
I think that the country that has more natural sources is Colombia because Colombia has better floors also the weather of Colombia is better than the England weather because England has many stations that they can't cultivate.
b) ¿why do you think that that the science and technology have a great development in England and not in Colombia?
I think that England Development first the science and the technology because England was invaded first than Colombia and also because the Government of
England influence much in that.
3. Make an essay in which you tell what we have to do in Colombia to develop the science and technology.
In my opinion it would be to create more scientific studies, creates more way to educate in proportion to more education and investigation which leads us to have more information and better methods to developed and create better science and technology in our country. With this we would have a more developed and technological country which would lead to better foundation.

Colombia vs. England
1. ¿what country do you think has more natural sources Colombia or England?
I think Colombia has more natural sources than England because Colombia don’t have winter, spring, summer or autumn, is always like the same weather because it’s too close to the Equatorial line. Colombia has better floors and that helps the agriculture. Colombia has natural mines and oil and the government haven’t worked on that mines because there are in FARC territories. We have to take into account that England is an island and it is smaller than Colombia and the commerce may be very difficult because England is like in the middle of the sea.
2. ¿why do you think that that the science and technology have a great development in England and not in Colombia?
England was more advanced in 1800 and their education was more practical than theoretical , that makes that technology and science had a great advance, but in Colombia the education of the American colonies was more Theoretical than practical and was less advanced and the humanity had more importance that other things
3. Make an essay in which you tell what we have to do in Colombia to develop the science and technology.
Maybe we cut modify the education and we cut make it more practical than theoretical like in England in 1800. I think we cut do this because if it function in the last centuries it cut function now. It will be a new and good way to learn because we cut do new things and use new educative systems.

Phases of Industrial Revolution
The industrial revolution is divided in 3 phases: machines and labor (1760 – 1840), technical revolution (1840 – 1920), technological revolution (1920…)
First phase: machines and labor (1760 - 1840)
Phases of the industrial revolution:
The industrial revolution changes the existence of the humans and accelerated the rhythm of the history. It wasn’t very fast it occurred slowed it needs time.
Technologic invents:
The precursors of the industrial revolution were the watches the manufactures gave to the British engineers the idea of constructed machines of high precision.
The global leadership of England:
The arrival of the immigrates Flemish and Huguenots to England during many time provided a strong impetus for industrial of wool and introduced new industries such as silk fabrics, England export by boats.
The triumph of the machines:
The British industry was transformed by two crucial changes: the mechanization of work and the application of the vapor of the new machines.
The mechanization of the work:
John Kay invents the shuttle hand wheel, that machine was enabled to fabricate cotton fabrics of the width wanted. Samuel Crompton invent the mule-jenny this machine produced thin thread, this machine had to be used on the banks of the rivers.
The application of vapor:
James Watt invent the machine of vapor this produce progress techniques this produce was more rentable. The first technologic were development in the textile industrial.
Steel and iron: mining and coal:
At the beginning of the industrialization, the feedstock for construct the machines was the iron.
The work with the iron planted a problem: for it foundry it need firewood, because the vapors that took out the coal plant do not favored the material.
The exit of the new techniques for the obtaining of the iron spread to others fields.
In 1779 was built the first metal bridge, in 1787 sailed the first ship made with iron plates riveted
The demographic revolution
Another significant event in Europe was the increase of the population, from 140 million to 300 million (1750 - 1850) and the entire population was concentrated in the cities.
The causes of the increase of the population were the industrial revolution, the better nutrition, advances in medicine and health, and dead rates fell from 30 to 1000 in 1780.
The increase of population makes the state restricting marriages dramatically.
Second phase: the technical revolution (1840 – 1920)
The technical progress and economic development created by the industrial revolution began to transform the habits and relationships between people. The communication and transportation methods make shortest distances.
Trains
One of the inventions of this phase were the trains. The first train was created in 1814 but was very slow so in 1835 were build powerful trains with more speed.
Steamboats
In 1803 the first model of a steam boat was created by Fulton. The mode was tested and works but the French government did not support this idea so Fulton moved to United States where he received support. In 1807 United States begun to produce this boats.
Industrial revolution expansion
France
Experiment from the 19 century a gradual industrialization. The machines they use came from England but later they began to build their own machines.Mechanization became generalized and the public works and the trains stimulated progress.
Germany
Industrialization begun with the role played by Prussia. In 1834 Germany created a large market, in 1835 began operating the first train, later industrial resources and technical capacity create the German empire and the country became a world power.
United States
In 1860 was the second industrial power. The great natural resources, the trains, and the emigrants were innovations caused the fast industrial development.
Japan
After the revolution Meiji, Japan started modernizing and this changes include the industrial revolution.
Third phase: technical revolution (1920...)
We can locate the face as of 1920.Around this time the aviation and space exploration received a big push. Developed the media of communication like the radio, television, film, telephone and the informatics and the media of transportation. Some of the characteristics of this time were called the Industrial Automation or empire of machines programmed.

Industrial revolution
The industrial revolution started in England on 1733 with the first cotton mill. England wanted to keep the industrialization as a secret, so they could become the world power. They prohibited anyone who had worked in a factory to leave the country.
Samuel Slater, worked in a factory in England and then he went to United States and build a cotton machine and created his own company, but the industrial revolution brought bad consequences to America because they needed people who work by a low price so woman and kids started working.
kids
The industrial revolution was a cruel period for kids. They had to work long hours in factories, suffering a lot, and they don’t had rights and either free time. There were thousand of kids without future because they were obligated to work in very big factories and they only work for having something to eat and survive. The saddest thing is that many kids died because of the pollution that the factories caused, other ones died because of the dangerous machines and works that they had to do and some other died because they were too tired of working so hard and so much.
Kids not only worked on factories they also worked in mines, collecting sea food and fruits, little sale mans and they had to do many other works.
